In regards to your question about the black beans:  I would compare labels between refried and whole black beans--are there extra ingredients in the refried beans that wouldn&#039;t lend it well to this recipe?  My guess is probably...since you won&#039;t use the whole can of whole black beans in the recipe, you&#039;ll have about 3/4 cup leftover.  I&#039;ve added this surplus to upcoming meals in order to incorporate more dry beans into my diet .  I hope that helps!</description>
